AGS RECYCLING INC. OPERATING PLAN
AGS Recycling Inc. has a simple yet effective operation plan.
All daily operations are enclosed.
AGS Recycling, Inc. centers operate Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the centers close for lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Our staff arrives at 8:30 a.m. every morning to prepare the site for the day. Doors are open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Once closed, staff will begin to clean up for the day and by 5:30 p.m. the center should be locked up and all staff should be off the premises.
Each location counts with 2 to 3 employees to serve our customers. AGS Recycling, Inc. focuses on serving customers quickly and efficiently by paying cash on-site instead of providing a voucher that will have to be redeemed elsewhere. Each transaction performed takes approximately 5 to 7 minutes.
Our operating plan allows each location to control the flow of traffic.
AGS Recycling, Inc. has zero tolerance for loitering and we refuse service to anyone who is unwilling to comply with our site rules.
Our day-to-day operations are noise-free as only CRV materials are collected and stored on site. All of the processing is done at our processing center located in Arroyo Grande.
AGS Recycling, Inc. educates customers on what materials can be accepted and how to sort their product. For faster service we ask that customers pre-sort all of their materials prior to arriving to the recycling center.
AGS Recycling Inc. is fully insured.
Each location counts with a 9x18ft. or 9x24ft. roll off container depending on the space available at each location. The product that is purchased from customers are stored in these roll off containers and once a roll off container is full it is replaced with an empty one.
AGS Recycling, Inc. operates conveniently for the community and gives back to public schools in the area to demonstrate our appreciation.

AGS RECYCLING INC. DAILY OPERATIONS
1.) Employees arrive at 8:30am and prepares the area for the workday
2.) Site opens to the public from 9am – 5pm. Closes at 12:00pm to 12:30pm for lunch. The site opens 5 day a week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Close Sunday and Thursday.
3.) As customers arrive, they are given a number and are directed to park their vehicles in the available parking spaces. (As a protection method for COVID-19)
4.)Once a customer is called up (by number) their CRV recyclables (glass, aluminum, and plastic) are weighed and customer is cashed out on site. (Approximately 5-7 minutes is spent on each customer).
5.) Due to COVID-19, we respectfully ask all our customers to:
- Wear a face covering
- Maintain the 6ft social distancing
- Leave kids in their vehicles or at home
- Not drop/pour any kind of liquid/fluid on property
6.) AGS Recycling sites do not perform any
crushing/compacting on premises. All site employees work hard and responsible, keeping the noise level to a minimum. Cleaning and disinfecting are done every day. The container and floor area is power washed 2 times a week.
7.) As the customers are cashed out, they are directed towards the exit. This helps prevent loitering. No loiterers will be tolerated.
8.) There will be 2-3 employees on site to make sure each customer is served quickly and effectively.
9.) At around 4:30pm each workday, employees will begin to clean up and prepare for the end of the workday. At 5pm AGS Recycling sites close. At 5:30pm everyone should be gone until the next workday.
